PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts used, decrease the rate of failure, and prevent the oil leakage in the hydraulic control device having a hydraulic control valve, by constructing the control valve by a body and a spool, and moving the spool in the direction of closing the input port in corresponding relation to the amount moved of an operated member.

CONSTITUTION: When a spool 73 is rotated using a stepping motor 74, the rotation of the spool 73 is converted to an axial movement thereof by a transmission member 77 whose axial movement is regulated by a feedback means 78. By this an operating oil is supplied to a hydraulic cylinder with a main port 72a, a first port 72b, and a groove 73a of the spool 73 being communicated with each other, through the movement of the spool 73, to thereby operate an operated member. The moved amount of this operated member is transmitted to arms 81a, 81b of the feedback means 78. The arm 81a is caused to abut against procession cam 79 by the urging force of a compression coil spring 82, and the arm 81b is swung in the leftward direction to move the spool 73 in the direction of closing the main port 72a, thus rendering the operating oil supply ineffective.
