Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control overlap time of a control based on an oil temperature and an engine speed.
SOLUTION: This controller has a torque converter 11 and a gear transmission which is switched to a plurality of shift stages by the engagement/release of a friction engaging device. The friction engaging device includes a forward clutch selectively connecting the driving output shaft 22 of the torque converter 11 and an input member for forward running of the gear transmission and a hydraulic actuating type band brake B/B preventing a mission output shaft 23 from revolving in an output backward direction by an engagement. In this case, overlap time of time when forward clutch fastening control command pressure is controlled to a value which is lower than line pressure and time when band brake release control command pressure is controlled to the value which is lower than line pressure is made to be changed based on the temperature of hydraulic fluid.
