Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure stress with accuracy without using a cable which demands for troubles, such as cutting or application of pressure sealing which is difficult to be executed.
SOLUTION: A water supply pipe 5 attached to an impervious device 4 having a pair of packers 41, 42 which closely join with the wall surface of a boring hole 3 at the tip, is inserted into the boring hole 3 which reaches a measured bedrock and a high pressure water is sent to a hydraulic crush compartment 6 formed between the wall surface of the boring hole 3 partitioned with the impervious device 4 and the outside surface of the water supply pipe 5 by way of the water supply pipe 5. These pressure processes and an AE(acoustic emission) count are measured with a measuring apparatus 1 laid out near the hydraulic crush compartment 6 in the water supply pipe 5 while measurement information is recorded in a recording unit incorporated in the measuring apparatus 1. After the end of measurement, the measuring apparatus is pulled to the ground so as to read the recorded information.
