To provide a hydraulic cylinder having a trunnion supporting fitting, which hydraulic cylinder can suppress the deformation of the cylinder body when a trunnion supporting fitting has been mounted thereon, and can surely fix the trunnion supporting fitting to the cylinder body.
A pair of trunnion supporting fittings 2, 2 are mounted on the cylinder body having a piston 9 movably inserted therein. The trunnion supporting fittings 2, 2 comprise main fittings 21 to be arranged along vertical outside surfaces 15a, 15a of the cylinder body, and fixing fittings 22 to be connected to the arm portions 25 of the main fittings 21. Mounting projections 30 formed on the fixing fittings 22 are locked to the locking grooves 17 formed on the horizontal outside surfaces 15b, 15b of the cylinder body. In addition, the trunnion supporting fittings 2, 2 have powder layers formed thereon, and the powder layers are brought into contact with the vertical outside surfaces 15a, 15a and the horizontal outside surfaces 15b, 15b, respectively.
