Abstract:

To provide a hydraulic cylinder with a shock-absorbing mechanism to be excellent in durability and shock absorbing power.

A piston 9 is driven based on the feed and discharge of fluid to and from a pressure operation chamber 10, formed by partitioning the internal part of a cylinder, a buffering body 21 having elasticity is disposed between the piston 9 and cylinder covers 5 and 6. The impact of the piston 9 is buffered by the drag of fluid in a fluid reservoir S1, generated by the shock-absorbing 21, and the elastic return force of a shock-absorbing body 21 itself. The shock- absorbing body 21 is provided with folding bending parts 22 and 23 formed in a plurality of spots between first and second end parts E1 and E2. Since folding and bending parts 22 and 23 are formed, the shock-absorbing body 21 is folded on a whole during compression. The first end part E1 side is supported at partition members 6 and 9. The second end part E2 is arranged in a state to float from partition members 6 and 9 in the direction of a stroke.
