Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect hydraulic pipings and cylinder rods, by installing the tube of a switching hydraulic cylinder to a grip side, and a cylinder rod to the installing base side of the grip respectively, and providing a hydraulic passage to the tube, in the cylinder rod.
SOLUTION: The tube 4 of an opening/closing hydraulic cylinder 3 is installed to a grip 1 side, while a cylinder head 5 is installed to a grip installing base 2 side. And a hydraulic passage 6 to the tube 4 is provided in the cylinder rod 5. A rod cover 7 is inserted over cylinder rod 5. Each hydraulic passage 6 has a port 8 at the rotary shaft side of the cylinder head 5, and the ports 8 are connected to a collecting port near the installing base 2 through hoses. The pressure is applied to the collecting port from a power shovel or the like, so as to form a grasping condition.
