To provide a clutch which is a double clutch, being a compact structure and having a high rotation torque capacity and a clutch with light tare weight capable of being manufactured advantageously in a cost.
The clutch is related with a hydraulic double clutch for a gear having two hydraulically operated clutches provided with two gear input shafts 9 and 10, coaxially arranged and having a driven housing 11; friction clutch plates 29, 30, 33, 36, 34, 37, and 35; and two hydraulically operated clutches having ring-shaped working pistons 43 and 44. Connection is effected such that a first clutch switches a clutch housing 11 with a first gear input shaft 10 and a second clutch switches the clutch housing 11 with a second input shaft 9, and both the clutches have a common inside clutch plate holder 40. The inside clutch plate holder 40 pierces one of the working pistons 43 and 44 and the termination of the inside clutch plate holder 40 is connected to the clutch housing 11 in a manner that it is not rotated.
