Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the thrust to be exerted upon an operating point from becoming impulsive not excessive at the leading end of the hydraulic cylinder of a drive device and to simplify the construction and reduce the size of the drive device. CONSTITUTION:When the piston rod 15b of a hydraulic cylinder 15 reaches a front end, oil begins to be accumulated. Since, in this instance, a change-over valve 21 holds its position 21a while providing communication between the head and rod sides of the cylinder 15, the thrust generated at the cylinder 15 corresponds to the difference in the pressure receiving areas between the head and rod sides of the cylinder 15. When a pressure reaches a preset level, an electric motor 1 is stopped by a pressure switch 28 so that the pressure at the rod side is gradually reduced by the lead in a pump 2 and from the valve 21. After that, the hydraulic energy accumulated in an accumulator 17 holds the cylinder 15 at a preset level.
