To relatively rapidly perform pressure accumulation in an accumulator when starting an engine in a low temperature environment, and to branch a necessary flow rate to an exclusive conduit through a branch conduit in pressure accumulation accompanied by the lowering of the pressure of the accumulator after starting the engine.
The hydraulic drive unit includes a flow control valve 40 which is provided at a part of a conduit 31 which is located on the downstream of a branch point between a conduit 30 included in a pressure oil supply conduit and a branch conduit 34 and also located on the upstream of check valves 16, 17 for holding the pressure of accumulators 14, 15. That is, when the pressure of the accumulators 14, 15 is lower than predetermined pressure, the flow control valve controls the flow rate of pressure oil flowing in the conduit 31 so that the flow rate of the pressure oil flowing in the conduit 31 is increased corresponding to accumulation start pressure after starting the engine 10, or cut-in pressure, and so that the flow rate of the pressure oil flowing in the conduit 31 is decreased when the pressure of the accumulators 14, 15 is equal to or higher than the cut-in pressure.
