Abstract:
To prevent hydraulic fluid from overflowing from an oil returning device during power failure work.SOLUTION: A hydraulic elevator 1 includes: a hydraulic jack 4 lifting up and down a car 7; an oil returning device 31 driven by receiving power supply from a power storage device 34 during the power failure work to recover hydraulic fluid overflowing from the hydraulic jack 4 and return it into an oil tank 12; and a control device 21 performing the drive control of the oil returning device 31 during the power failure work. When it is detected that the power supply from commercial power supply facilities 9 is interrupted, the control device 21 drives an oil returning pump by power supply from the power storage device 34 and returns the hydraulic fluid inside a recovery tank to the oil tank 12 until the amount of the hydraulic fluid inside the recovery tank, which is detected by an oil amount detection sensor, becomes equal to or lower than a predetermined amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
