Abstract:

To obtain a forming material from which such a fiber reinforced cement formed product can be obtd. that has excellent trapping property of cement particles without containing asbestos or pulp, that can avoid lacking of reinforcing property of pulps, and that has excellent durability, by adding fibrils of specified polymer fibers which can be easily fibrillated to a hydraulic material.

This hydraulic inorg. forming material is prepared by adding a fibrillated product of fibers comprising a polyvinyl alcohol polymer and a polyacrylonitrile polymer to a hydraulic material. The hydraulic material is especially used to obtain a product by a paper making method. The paper making property of the hydraulic inorg. forming material is largely improved, and by hardening this material, a product of pulpless hydraulic inorg. material having high strength and high durability can be obtd. in a paper making process. It is preferable that the fibers have ≥6g/d strength and ≥120g/d Young's modulus and that the fibrillated fibers are added by 0.1-5wt.% to the solid content of the hydraulic material.
