Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a mechanical lock mechanism in both expanding and contracting directions on a hydraulic jack used in the case of fine adjustment at the time of assembly of a workpiece and a machine and in case of holding a support for a long period of time.
CONSTITUTION: Lowering of a piston rod 2 is prevented by making a first safety nut 6 screwed on a piston rod 2 contact with an upper end surface of a cylinder tube 1, and floating of the piston rod 2 is prevented by pressing the first safety nut 6 by a second safety nut 9 screwed in the cylinder tube 1.
