PURPOSE: To improve durability in a swash plate type compressor, by leading a discharge fluid inclusive of lubricating oil positively into a spherical supporting part of the swash plate type compressor.

CONSTITUTION: A main shaft 4 of a swash plate type compressor is supported by a spherical bearing 20 at a central part of a rotary wash plate 9. One end of an oil feed pipe 40 is connected to a spherical contact part of the spherical bearing, while the other end of this oil feed pipe 40 is interconnected to the inside of a discharge chamber 30. Accordingly, a refrigerant inclusive of lubricating oil being discharged to the inside of the discharge chamber 30 is fed to the said spherical bearing 20 so that lubricating performance in the said part is well improvable and, what is more, durability in the swash plate type compressore is also improved.
