To drive machines which perform a cyclic motion with high acceleration, saving energy by electrical power control and utilizing greater output for the working processes of machines.

The invention proposes a novel drive with electrical power control for machines which perform cyclic motion, An electric motor 2 drives a pump 3 which, in turn, is directly connected to cylinders 10, 11. The constitution thus arranged is further provided with a system of pressure accumulators 8, 9 and valves 5, 6 which impart the property of an oscillator to the system. The acceleration force in the case of the cyclic motion near to resonance is exerted largely by the pressure accumulators 8, 9 and the cylinders connected thereto, thereby relieving the electric motor 2 making it to decrease the output of the machines otherwise enables shortening of the cycle time of the machine with the same power.
