Abstract:
To prevent performance from lowering and a piston ring from being damaged by improving the wear resistance of the piston ring.
A thin film 14 of DLC (diamond like carbon) is formed at least on the sliding surface of a piston ring 12 inserted in a piston of a hydraulic piston pump motor with a cylinder hole. Consuquently, wearing resistance is improved by the hardening of the sliding surface of the piston ring so as to prevent the performance of the pump motor from lowering and the piston ring from being damaged.
