Abstract:
PURPOSE: To aim at the effective utilization of natural flow energy, by forming a natural flow diffuser with a generating ship consisting of the twin-float moored in a natural flow, and forming a speed increasing flow there.
CONSTITUTION: A generating ship is provided with a twin-float 1, floating two floating bodies 2A and 2B in mooring them in a natural flow of rivers, and a symmetrical diffuser of a water current satisfying a required expansion angle θis formed. On top of the twin-float 1, there are provided with a speed- increasing gear 6 speeding up a hydraulic turbine 5 and a generator 7. Therefore, natural flow energy of rivers is effectively utilized and hydroelectric power generation is simply performable.
