Abstract:

To prevent connecting strength from decreasing in a fluid transmission device wherein a turbine shell and a turbine hub are welded, because compressive stress is applied to a welding part even if the turbine shell displaces to a blade side in its torque transmission.

The fluid transmission device 10 is provided with: an input side rotation element A including a pump blade 18 to which an input member is connected; and an output side rotation element B including a turbine hub 15 to which turbine shell 22 to which a turbine blade 21 facing to the pump blade 18 is attached, and an output member 1 are coupled, wherein the inner and of the turbine shell and the turbine hub are welded. The turbine shell 22 and the turbine hub 15 respectively has contact faces 23, 24 extended along a rotation shaft line 10a of this fluid transmission device 10. A connecting part 14 by welding is formed for these contact faces 23, 24 at a side closer to the pump blade 18.
