Abstract:

To provide a hydraulic pressure control device capable of achieving the brake operation having good brake feeling and less sense of incongruity.

In the hydraulic pressure control device, a check valve with its valve opening pressure being substantially zero is connected to a second flow passage 16b provided parallel to a first flow passage 16a so as to bypass a mechanical booster valve 56, and transmits the pressure of a master cylinder to a wheel cylinder side when the pressure on the master cylinder side is higher than that of the wheel cylinder side, and suppresses any reverse flow of brake fluid on the wheel cylinder side to the master cylinder 14. A cut valve is provided on the downstream side of the mechanical booster valve 56 and the check valve 60. An ECU 90 closes the cut valve when detecting the operation of a brake pedal 12 under the predetermined condition, and thereafter, the ECU 90 opens a right master cut valve 22FR when the liquid pressure generated in the master cylinder 14 reaches the target liquid pressure set to be higher than the liquid pressure when the opened check valve 60 is closed.
