Abstract:
To provide a fluid pressure generation device which can improve strength and durability while suppressing an increase in axial direction length.SOLUTION: A fluid pressure generation device is used for a vehicle brake system 9. The fluid pressure generation device includes: a rotation member 12 which is rotatably held by a housing 10, rotates according to rotation of an electric motor 11, and has a female screw section 12a formed on an inner peripheral surface; a direct-acting member 13 which is arranged inside the rotation member 12 and has a male screw section 13a which is formed on an outer peripheral surface and screws with the female screw section 12a through a plurality of balls 19 or directly; and a fluid pressure chamber 16 which has volume changed by axial direction movement of the direct-acting member 13 and outputs brake fluid by reduction of the volume. The direct-acting member 13 moves in the axial direction according to rotation of the rotation member 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
