To provide a hydraulic rotary machine capable of restricting abrasion of a bearing rotatably supporting a rotary part.
This invention relates to a hydraulic rotary machine using water as working fluid that comprises a rotary part 50 and a bearing 12 for rotatably supporting the rotary part 50, the bearing 12 is formed with a feed passage 12A for use in supplying water acting as working fluid between the bearing 12 and the rotary part 50. Since the working water is supplied between the bearing 12 and the rotary part 50 through the feed passage 12A, it is possible to form water screen between the bearing 12 and the rotary part 50 and further even if water is applied as the working fluid, it is possible to improve lubrication property of the bearing 12 against the rotary part 50. With this arrangement, it becomes possible to restrict abrasion of the bearing 12.
