Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hydrodynamic compression and/or cutting tools that reduce electric energy consumption and the time needed to perform a job.SOLUTION: An embodiment comprises: a pump housing (3) carrying an electric motor; a hydrodynamic group for pressurizing a hydraulic fluid; a control circuit for controlling the electric motor; a flexible pressure hose (8) connecting the hydrodynamic group to a work head (11) of a tool (1) to communicate the hydraulic fluid pressure to the work head (11); and a flexible control cable (12) connecting the control circuit in the pump housing (3) to a hand held remote control (15). The hand held remote control (15) comprises an actuating button (18) for starting the electric motor, and a button for selecting an operation mode of the electro-hydraulic pump from a plurality of pre-set operation modes and a multifunction display which shows the selected operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
