Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic rotary machine capable of reducing torque loss accompanying rotation of a cylinder block.SOLUTION: A hydraulic rotary machine includes a cylinder block 14 rotated in conjunction with a rotating shaft 13, a plurality of pistons 15 respectively accommodated in a plurality of cylinders 14A of the cylinder block 14, and a valve plate 16 slide-contacting with one end face of the cylinder block 14. The valve plate 16 includes a low pressure port 16A communicated among the plurality of cylinders 14A for supplying and discharging a hydraulic oil at a low pressure side, a high pressure port 16B formed into the circular arc shape over a prescribed angle 26A in the circumferential direction of the rotating shaft 13, and communicated among the plurality of cylinders 14A for supplying and discharging a hydraulic oil at a high pressure side, a seal land portion 16C slide-contacting with the cylinder block 14, and sealing the hydraulic oil from the low pressure port 16A and the high pressure port 16B, and a pad 30 disposed within a range 26B of the prescribed angle 26A in the circumferential direction of the rotating shaft 13 of the circumference of the seal land portion 16C, and slide-contacting with the cylinder block 14.
