To prevent abrasion, seize and the like from being generated on a sliding plane between a piston and a cylinder and a sliding plane between a swash plane and a shoe to improve performance of a hydraulic rotating machine.
A sulfurizing layer 23 is formed on the side of an outer periphery of a piston 21 and a sulfurizing layer 24 is formed on the side of a concave spherical part. Also, a sulfurizing layer 29 is formed on the side of convex spherical part 27A of a shoe 25. In addition, a sliding member 30 made of copper alloy and the like is provided on the rear side of the seating 26 of the shoe 25. Abrasion on sulfurizing layers 24, 29 generated on the sliding plane E between the piston 21 and the shoe 25 is minimized by making the sulfurizing layers 24, 29 thinner than the sulfurizing layer 23. Thereby, a worn fragment generated by these sulfurizing layers 24, 29 is prevented from coming into the sliding plane F between the swash plane 4 and the sliding member 30 via an oil passage 28 on the shoe side for a long period.
