Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the lubricity in both surfaces of a seal ring groove and a sealed side so as to improve their resistance to wear in a device for performing hydraulic sealing between a shaft member and a housing surrounding this and rotating therewith by a seal ring attached to the seal ring groove of the shaft member.
CONSTITUTION: A shaft member 2 is made of A1 alloy, surface roughness of the sealed side 11a of its seal ring groove 11 is set to Rmax 3.0 to 6.3μm, a seal ring 12 is made of a synthetic resin and its sealed side 12a is formed having a medium height curved surface.
