Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make simultaneous adjustment of damping force and vehicle height possible by providing an actuator connected to a damping force adjusting mechanism in air supply and exhaust passages for a vehicle height adjusting device. CONSTITUTION:An actuator 2 is connected to a hydraulic shock absorber 1 and a vehicle height adjusting device 3 is connected to the actuator 2. To the vehicle hight adjusting device 3, an air supply source 30 is arranged on one side and a bellows 31 on the other side, and an air supply and exhaust passage 32 are disposed between an air supply source 30 and the bellows 31. Since the actuator 2 is arranged in the supply and exhaust passage 32, the vehicle height adjustment and the damping force adjustment are simultaneously carried out, so that the vehicle height can be adjusted without impairing the riding comfort.
