PURPOSE: To apply the brakes again by a method wherein a throttle sensor responsive to an engine throttle is provided and a module means is re-set by a signal from the throttle sensor.
CONSTITUTION: In a hydraulic system for traction control, a pump 12 is adapted to withdraw fluid from a reservoir 6 through a master cylinder assembly 1 under the control of a solenoid-controlled valve 11 responsive to signals from an electronic control module 30 and a pressure-sensitive insulated cut-off valve 20. The system is provided with a flow rate control valve 7 responsive to signals from the electronic control module 30, a throttle switch 33 is responsive to movement of an engine throttle 34 and signals from the engine throttle 34 are transmitted to the control module 30. Thus, when the signal from the switch 33 changes as a foot is released from the throttle pedal 4, the control module recognizes the change in signal and re-sets a modulator means such as the flow rate control valve 7. With this constitution, the brakes can be completely applied again.
