To provide a hydraulic tap hole opening machine which controls the tap hole opening work, or the like, of a blast furnace, or the like, of a steelworks in accordance with the rotating pressure, blow pressure and feeding pressure and is capable of perfuming adequate drill control as against fluctuations in the feed pressure, rotating pressure, or the like, during normal drilling work by a change of lapse of time.

The hydraulic tap hole opening machine which opens a tap hole by combination of rotation, blow and feed is provided with detecting sensors for detecting rotating pressure, blow pressure, feed pressure and the accelerating and decelerating speeds of the feed pressure and performs the control of at least one among the jamming prevention control, readvance feed force control, idle shooting prevention control, automatic striking force control, feed force control and plunge prevention control.
