This hydraulic tool has a motor 130, a hydraulic pump 140, an output cylinder device 3, and a recessed die of a crimping die 120 coaxially placed in a shell part 151 of a tool main body 150 and is provided with an oil tank 100 connected to a cylinder chamber 50, a release valve for discharging pressurizing fluid in the cylinder chamber 50, and a release button 153 provided near a gripping part 152 for operating the release valve, and the oil tank 100 and the release valve are placed on an upper part of the shell part 151 on an opposite side to the gripping part 152 and an operation part 77 of the release valve and the release button 153 are connected via a lever 155.
