Hydraulic transmission device 1-1 is provided with a hydraulic transmission means 20 including a pump impeller 21 rotating as one unit with a front cover 10 to which drive force of a drive source is transmitted and the turbine liner 22 connected to an output shaft 50 rotatably as one unit and transmitting drive force transmitted from the pump impeller via working fluid to an output shaft, a lock up clutch 30 transmitting drive force transmitted to the front cover directly to the front cover, and a damper means 40 connecting the front cover and the lock up clutch. The lock up clutch and the output shaft are connected via the turbine liner. Drive force transmitted via the lock up clutch is transmitted to the output shaft via the turbine liner in an engagement state of the lock up clutch.
