Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve transmission efficiency by a power dividing system, and simultaneously reduce moment of inertia and improve mounting performance to a vehicle by diameter minimization in a hydraulic transmission provided with a cam type hydraulic motor and a cam type hydraulic pump.
CONSTITUTION: A cam plate type hydraulic pump P and a cam plate type hydraulic motor M are connected to each other through a hydraulic circuit, and the capacity of the hydraulic motor M is variable by changing the inclination of a cam plate 19 for the motor M. In a hydraulic transmission of such constitution, the hydraulic motor M and the hydraulic pump P are disposed axially in series on the same axis, a valve body 3 forming the hydraulic circuit is disposed at one axial side end of the hydraulic pump P, and a hydraulic distribution ring is provided to come in sliding contact with the valve body 3. A cam plate 15 for the hydraulic pump P is installed at the hydraulic pump side end face of a cylinder block 4 for the motor M, and the cam plate 19 for the motor M is disposed on the opposite side to the hydraulic pump side.
