Title:
HYDRAULIC TYPE BOOSTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60135359
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten the overall length of a valve piston, by installing an outlet valve in the valve piston receiving pedal operating force as well as installing an inlet valve in the said outlet valve in parallel, while operating the inlet valve via an interlock member at a time when the valve piston goes forward.

CONSTITUTION: An outlet valve 30 is installed in a tip end of a valve piston 38, while the said valve 30 controls interconnection and interception between an output hydraulic chamber 25 and an oil trank 2. An inlet valve 29 is installed in a booster cylinder 20 in parallel with the outlet valve 30. The said valve 29 controls interconnection and interception between each of hydraulic pressure sources 27, 28 and an input hydraulic chamber 24. That is to say, when the valve piston 38 is in nonoperational, the inlet valve 29 is closed but the outlet valve 30 is opened whereby a booster S is made to come into a state of being nonoperational. When the valve piston 38 goes forward, the outlet valve 30 closes and simultaneously an interlock member 47 installed in the valve piston 38 advances forward whereby the inlet valve 29 opens via an actuating rod 35. Therefore, pressure in these hydraulic pressure sources 27 and 28 is fed to the output hydraulic chamber 25 so that the booster S operates.
