PURPOSE: To provide a hydraulic unit construction which enables absorption of pressure pulse to a hydraulic muffler from a pipe without an enlarged hydraulic unit by installing the hydraulic muffler separated therefrom.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 3, a pump 4, a tank 13, hydraulic muffler and so on are placed on a base 1 of a hydraulic unit installed on a floor 15 with vibration-proof rubbers 14 interposed therebetween. In addition to the hydraulic unit, a hydraulic muffler 17 is installed, separated therefrom, directly on the floor 15. The muffler 17 and a valve 18 in the unit are communicated to each other through a flexible tube 16. With such an arrangement, a vibration generated by the motor 3 and the like, the operation entailing of the unit, can be absorbed by the tube 16, thus preventing transmission of vibration to an outlet pipe 12 from the muffler 17. In addition, the length of the tube 16 can be determined according to the frequency of the pressure pulsation regardless of the size of the unit, thus providing maximum muffler effect.
