To provide an economical and small oscillating actuator camshaft adjusting device having high control performance.
A hydraulic valve for the oscillating actuator camshaft adjusting device includes a hollow piston 54 having a bush 52 and a piston bottom part 51. The piston is movable in an axial direction in the range of the bush by an actuator 43 against force 58 of a screw type compression spring. The actuator abuts on the piston bottom part. A sleeve 55 fixed to the bush is provided within the hollow piston and is movable relative to the piston. The wall of the sleeve has at least one penetration aperture part 59 which communicates with at least one hole of the hollow piston and the hole can alternately guide supply pressure (P) applied in the sleeve to two pairs of pressure chambers of the oscillating actuator camshaft adjusting device. The sleeve has a sleeve bottom part blocking the inner space of the hollow piston.
