Title:
HYDRAULICALLY DRIVING METHOD OF COOLING FAN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3111325
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce over-shoot phenomenon of operating oil pressure by controlling the set pressure of a pressure setting valve by means of a lower one out of a set pressure decided by the water temperature of a radiator, and a set pressure decided proportionally to the square of rotational speed of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: The oil pressure pump 2 of an engine 1 is driven to drive a hydraulic motor 3 so as to rotate a cooling fan 3a. The oil pressure level of discharge pressure oil in the oil pressure pump 2 is set by a pressure set valve 6. Set pressure of the pressure set valve 6 is controlled by a means of a lower one out of a pressure which is set by a pilot valve 6A in response to detection of the water temperature of a radiator and, a pressure which is set by a pilot valve 6B in response to rotational speed of the engine 1 via a hydraulic actuator 7. It is thus possible to reduce beat noise by rotational fluctuation of a cooling fan 3a when a transmission gear is shifted.
