PURPOSE: To provide the subject miniaturized apparatus generating little noise, and so designed that the water on the surface of bean sprouts after washed is removed as much as possible, without the use of a blower, in packaging them.

CONSTITUTION: Washed bean supports W are successively fed on an endless belt conveyer 10 using an endless belt 11 made of elastic sponge of a hydrophilic resin, and during their conveyance, they are brought into contact with a rolling member 20 set above for bean sprouts to change the part of bean sprouts W successively coming into contact with the endless belt 11, thus absorbing the water on the surface of bean sprouts into the endless belt 11.
