The hydrocarbon-based solvent composition contains 90 mass% aromatic compounds and has 5 mass% content of a compound having an aryl group and 224 molecular weight, 35 mass% content of a compound having an aryl group and 210 molecular weight and 50 mass% content of alkyl naphthalene. The hydrocarbon-based solvent composition preferably has 285C 105 distillation temperature and 320C 90% distillation temperature.
