Abstract:
The invention provides hydrocortisone-17, 21-diesters of the general formula wherein each of R<1> and R<2>, which may be the same or different, represents a straight or branched chain alkyl group containing 1 to 5 carbon atoms. These diesters have good stability and valuable therapeutic properties such as good anti-phlogistic action as well as low toxicity.
