Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and effectively fix a web and a turbine wheel without welding them together.
SOLUTION: A hydrodynamic connecting device has a locking clutch containing a torsion damper, and in a web of this torsion damper, an outer peripheral part is at least partially fixed to a shell 55 by bent lugs 58a, 58b and 58c to engage with corresponding slots formed in a part of the web coincident with an outside surface of the shell 55. In this web 52, an inner peripheral part is mechanically fixed to one of an element composed of the shell 55 and a plate 34 to support this shell, and this fluid joining device contains a preassembled sub-assembly basically composed of a turbine wheel 28, the web 52, a guide washer 50 and a spring 54 acting in the circumferential direction.
