Abstract:

To fix a bearing sleeve to the inner circumferential surface of a housing at low cost without deteriorating bearing performance.

A core rod 10 is inserted to the inner circumference of a bearing sleeve body 18, and the bearing sleeve body 18 is then press-fitted to the inner circumference of a housing 7. According to this, the bearing sleeve body 18 receives a radially inward drag from the housing 7, an inner circumferential surface 18a of the sleeve body 18 is pressed onto an outer circumferential surface 10a of the core rod 10, the shape of an axial projection formed on the outer circumferential surface 10a of the core rod 10 is transferred to the inner circumferential surface 18a of the sleeve body 18, whereby an axial recessed part is formed on the inner circumferential surface 18a of the sleeve body 18.
