PURPOSE: To provide a hydrofoil craft whose hull inside space can be widened and at the same time whose manufacture can be conducted easily and whose propelling performance and motion performance at the time of surfacing navigation can be improved stably.
CONSTITUTION: At a hull 12, an approximately horizontal and downward step difference surface 17 is formed between a surfacing navigation time water line WL2 and a stop time water line WL1. The section shape of a main body 15 at the upper part of the step difference surface 17 is free, and a navigation submerged portion 16 at the lower part of the step difference surface 17 is formed downward and taperingly in cross section. As a result, by making the submerged portion of the hull 12 at the time of navigation small, friction resistance against water is decreased. Also, the manufacture of the hull 12 is made easy by reducing narrow shape portions, and the reserve floating power of a pair-bodied hydrofoil craft 10 is secured by forming the step difference surface 17 at the front of the hull 12, and stability is obtained.
