Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroforming die and a hydroforming method with which a formed product whose expanded tube portion is long and which has high expansion ratio can be obtained, and hydroforming method.
SOLUTION: The hydroforming die is a pair of dies to be used in the hydroforming work in which a metallic tube is fitted to split dies, and the internal pressure and the pressing force in the axial direction of the tube are applied to the metallic tube after the die clamping. The pair of dies comprises a counter punch (1) which is movable in the direction orthogonal to the axis of the tube to form an expanded portion of the metallic tube, a die (2) movable in the axial direction of the tube, and a fixed die (3) to hold the movable die (2) and the counter punch (1). The movable die (2) has a groove (4) where the counter punch (1) freely slides, in the axial direction of the tube.
