Abstract:
To provide a gelling agent containing a biomaterial structuring component capable of expecting bioadaptability, capable of easy mass production, and capable of solidifying a large quantity of water or an aqueous solution with a minimal weight and a simple method.
This hydrogel-forming agent is represented by the general formula: R-An [wherein n is 2 or 3, A represents the same or different nucleotide, R represents a hydrocarbon chain (which is divalent if n is 2, and trivalent if n is 3), and the hydrocarbon chain is bonded at the phosphate portion of the nucleotide].
