Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for a zirconium alloy seamless pressure pipe by which the aggregate structure thereof is changed so as to improve safety during the operation of a nuclear reactor, thereby improving the reactor availability factor.
CONSTITUTION: In order to change the aggregate structure formed of the zirconium alloy seamless pressure pipe manufactured by hot pressing out, the aggregate structure of a seamless pressure pipe-final product is improved by expanding the pipe by using a method, which can deform the seamless pipe under the cross rolling or plane deforming conditions similar to cross rolling, without using only hot pressing out and drawing.
