Abstract:
A method for charging hydrogen gas and an apparatus thereof are provided to charge efficiently the hydrogen gas to a hydrogen vehicle by suppressing increase in the temperature of the hydrogen gas. An apparatus for charging hydrogen gas includes a compressor(12), a charge passage(13), a storage container(15), a cooling unit, and a circulation passage(18). The compressor compresses hydrogen gas supplied from a hydrogen gas supply source. The charge passage charges the compressed hydrogen gas in a hydrogen vehicle. The storage container stores the hydrogen gas compressed by the compressor. The cooling unit cools hydrogen gas flowing from the storage container to the charge passage. The circulation passage is diverged from the charge passage through which the cooled hydrogen gas flows and is connected to a suction side of the compressor.
