Abstract:
To provide a hydrogen gas generating apparatus for efficiently promoting the generation of hydrogen gas by more actively reacting sodium borohydride with citric acid, and an output package using hydrogen gas generated thereby as fuel.SOLUTION: An apparatus is provided that produces a hydrogen gas H2 by reacting respective aqueous solutions M1 and M2 of sodium borohydride and citric acid, which are raw materials M. The apparatus comprises a chamber body provided with an injection hole 12 of the raw materials M, an extraction hole 13 of a hydrogen gas H2, and a drain hole 14, and an agitating body 17 provided in a reaction chamber 11 of the chamber body and rotationally driven. The apparatus is configured such that the aqueous solution M1 of sodium borohydride supplied from the injection hole 12 into the reaction chamber 11 and the aqueous solution M2 of citric acid are stirred and mixed by the agitating body 17 rotating to accelerate the reaction of both the raw materials M to generate the hydrogen gas H2 and the hydrogen gas H2 is extracted to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
