Abstract:
To provide a hydrogen generating catalyst that exhibits the activity at a low temperature zone up to a high temperature zone and that is excellent in heat resistance.
A support comprising a composite oxide having celia, zirconia and alumina dispersed in a nano-scale therein is supported by a noble metal. The noble metal is easily reduced into the metal even if the noble metal is oxidized, thereby the high activity of the noble metal is maintained. Further, the interaction between the support and the noble metal is large and the granule growth of the noble metal is suppressed at a high temperature.
