To safely and accurately control hydrogen generation and hydrogen supply and to reduce the volume and cost of a hydrogen demanding body to a half, even when a small cellular phone or an automobile that uses a hydrogen demanding device is used upside down or randomly requires hydrogen supply.
A hydrogen generating container is provided with a functional substance mounted therein or with a cell element having a functional substance mounted on a negative electrode therein, and integrated with a hydrogen demanding unit. The hydrogen generating container generates hydrogen gas by hydrolysis of water or of an aqueous solution (electrolytic liquid) by the functional material and hydrolysis of the functional substance, and by binding of hydrogen atoms of hydrogenated metal settling among crystals, and directly supplies the hydrogen gas to the hydrogen demanding unit.
