Title:
HYDROGEN RECOVERY APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3871858
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen recovery apparatus with superior durability by using ferrite type stainless steel with high temperature performance in a high temperature atmosphere of 600-900°C as a substrate of forming hydrogen- permeating film.
SOLUTION: A porous metal 3a is produced by forming multiple gas permeating apertures on a substrate made of ferrite type stainless steel with Cr content of 15 mass % or less and Ti and/or Nb content of (C+N)×8 or more. A hydrogen separating tube 3 is produced, by installing a hydrogen permeating film 3b outside the porous metal 3a. Multiple hydrogen separating tubes 3 are inserted between inside wall and outside wall of a double tube 2, and catalyst 4 is packed there. Hydrocarbon gas, sent through a nozzle 7, is heat-decomposed with combustion heat of fuel being injected into the inside of the double tube 2, and hydrogen generated is selectively permeated through the hydrogen permeating film 3b and taken out to the outside of the apparatus from an outlet 8.
