Abstract:

To provide a hydrogen separating permeable membrane having an excellent high temperature stability of amorphous phase.

The hydrogen separating permeable membrane is constituted of an amorphous Zr-Ni alloy having a composition containing 44-75 atomic% of Zr, 0.2-18 atomic % or Al and the remainder of Ni (of which the content is not more than 43 atomic%) and inevitable impurities.
