Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen separation body capable of establishing compatibility between high hydrogen permeability and peeling resistance and a hydrogen production apparatus using the hydrogen separation body.SOLUTION: In a hydrogen separation body (1) having a porous body (20) and a hydrogen separation layer (17) filled with a hydrogen separation metal selectively permeating only hydrogen in hydrogen-containing gases in the pores of the porous body (20), a ratio (ε/τ) of a filling rate ε being an index exhibiting the filling rate of the hydrogen separation metal in the hydrogen separation layer (17) and a flexion degree τ being an index exhibiting the degree of the permeation path length of hydrogen in a thickness direction of the hydrogen separation layer (17) is in the range of 0.2-0.6.
